How To Apply

               Procedure for submission of Application Form :   
1. Please go through all the details like Important dates, Eligibility Criteria before filling up the online Application form for Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET).



2. Before filling the Actual Application Form you should furnish details such as your name, e-mail I.D. and date of birth etc. For creating the unique Login ID, click on "CREATE NEW ACCOUNT" After furnishing the said details, then you will be provided with unique Login ID. With this Login ID and Password you can fill up an online SET application form. The Login ID & password will also be mailed to your specified email id for your reference. It is essential for the candidate to remember his/her Login ID and Password for getting his/her Admit Card online prior to 10 days of the SET examination. 

Once you get the Login ID & password, Click on the Link Apply Online where you have to login to the system by entering Login ID, password & email id. Only after your verification, you will be in a position to fill an Application form for Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET).

a. Fill all the information carefully as per the given instructions.
b. Once you fill all the details, click on the "Submit" button.
c. Then you can see the preview of your filled Application form. On that preview there are two options Update Form &  Upload the Photo
d. If you want to update any filled information you can update it by clicking on Update button or if your filled information is correct then click on "Upload Photo", where you have to select the image file for your passport size photo(50kb JPG File) for uploading. Please confirm the file name & check the image before uploading to the system. Please check that you have uploaded the image of your photograph only.***
e. After successful uploading of photo, system will generate the unique Application Number for your application, which you have to note down. 
f. After submitting the application & Uploading the photo, you can take the printout of Filled Application form by clicking text "Click here to take the Printout".
g. The printed Application form will be of  FIVE pages : First Page- Application Form, Second Page- Declaration, Third Page  Acknowledgement, Fourth Page- Bank Challan & Fifth Cover page to be pasted on envelope for sending Application form) Check whether you have printed all the 5 mentioned pages.
h. You have to submit print out of this Challan at Cash Counter of any branch of "HDFC Bank" or "Bank of Maharashtra" selected by you and pay the cash. This Challan is divided into 3 sections. After receipt of payment, Bank shall give you 2 sections of Challan with Stamp of Bank. You need to submit SET Unit copy of Stamped Challan along with printed application to concerned center opted by you.
  If the fees are not paid within period of 5 days from the generation of challan, you have to revalidate the challan by visiting the website. The Revalidation option will be available after entering the login & password into the system.
i. It is essential to affix the photograph (the same photograph of which the scanned image was uploaded by the candidate) beside the scanned image on the hard copy of the application form duly attested by the Gazatted officer, Principal of the college. [Please do not paste the photo on printed photograph.]
j. You can also take a printout later, by clicking on the Link "Print Application", and entering your Login ID & Password
5. You should send the following documents :
  • The Printout of your Application form with photo at appropriate place and attested from Head Master/Principal of the College/Gazetted officer. 
  • Also enclose the following documents along with form.

Original SET UNIT COPY of Bank Challan.

2. Final Year Mark list of Master's Degree or P.G. Diploma of equivalent examination (in case of candidates who have passed Master's Degree)
3. Marriage certificate/Gazette Copy (in case of any change in name) .
4. Caste Certificate/Validity Certificate issued by Competent Authority from Maharashtra supporting the claim.
5. Valid Non Creamy layer Certificate for OBC/SBC/DT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D) Category candidates. *
6. Medical Certificate given by Competent Authority in prescribed format in case of Visually/Blind or Physically Handicapped Candidates.*

* The certificate must be in candidate's own name and not in father's or husband's name.

All above documents alongwith the hard copy of the application form must be submitted at the concerned centers opted by you by hand or by post in an envelope of size 36 cm x 25 cm.

6. If your form is valid (with all details, attested enclosed documents, eligibility criteria), an On line Hall ticket will be made available to you 15 days before the examination.
7. Hall ticket will not be sent to the candidates by post.  You have to take a printout of the Admit Card (Hall Ticket),  by clicking "Print Hall Ticket" option.
8. Candidate has to come with this Printout of the Admit card and Photo Identity Proof at the time of the SET Examination.  
               Procedure for submission of printout of application form:
1. Arrange the Application form & the required documents enlisted.  
2. Paste your passport size photograph on the space provided on the printout of Application form.  
3. Sign in the space provided for the signature on the printout of the Application Form.  
4. Enclose the form along with the required documents and Bank Challan in an envelope of size 36 cm x 25 cm  
5. Seal the envelope properly and paste the Cover Page containing address of the concerned center (Page 5 of the Application Form).  
6. Affix appropriate postage on envelope and send the envelope to the address printed on cover page by post /speed post/courier or by hand so as to reach to the concerned center on or before last date of submission
